How can I download Adobe Flash Player 10 for Safari web browser?
Safari still has a little light under it on the dock, doesn't it? The red X button doesn't do what you think it does. Open safari, and on the bar at the top of the screen click Safari -> Quit Safari
The light under safari on the dock should disappear. Then try again.
If it still doesn't work, close down any other programs you have open in the same way, some non-safari programs use safari for other things.

Why is Adobe Flash Player being phased out? There is so much content out there that runs on Flash.
Because it's a memory hog, riddled with security issues and most importantly is not power efficient. This last one is the main reason it won't work with mobile devices that run on batteries. With the convergence of the mobile and desktop web, anything that isn't mobile friendly gets the boot. With the introduction of html5 video elements and including animation and other interactive components into CSS, there just isn't a compelling reason to build in flash anymore.
How do I download the latest version of Mac OS X?
Before upgrading the Mac OS 10.4.11 be certain to verify that your system will support ANY upgrade. Upgrades to 10.5 or to 10.6 or to 10.7 have memory(RAM), cpu requirements in addition to others.
Also if you are able to upgrade to 10.6, you most likely will loose some applications because they are powerpc (Apple cpu no longer supported) supported.
See links below for 10.5 and 10.6 system requirements
**Edit***
You can check what processor you are using (powerpc or intel) how much RAM you have by clicking on the apple in the left corner and choosing About this Mac. In the small window that opens is your processor type and speed, and also your RAM. For additional information about the system click on 'more info' near the bottom of the same window.
You don't need to click on 'software update' and I would recommend it until you know what direction you can go in. Also a word about iTunes DO NOT update it past 9.1 in particular if you are using an older iPod, iTouch or other Mac device. Just as you are doing with the computer, devices have IOS and updating them or not, needs to take into account the OS on the computer, as the two, OS and IOS, interface.
How do i install flash on my Mac version 10.6.6? Lenovo thinkvision driver windows 10.
Some installs are like that. They just leave you hanging and you can't tell if it did anything, right? Just close those windows and right click on the icon and eject it. Once you install the software, you don't need that download setup info. Check your dock to see if anything else is running that you don't need and quit it (right click). You can also go to the downloads folder and delete the file you downloaded. Keep the clutter down.
How do you install an older version of safari on a mac?
Something isn't right here: OS X always verifies that the App is compatible with the installed version of OS X, before it even tries to install the new App.
So, the REAL question is what happened to your old Safari version, that was running just fine, on your OS X Snow Leopard??? OS X Lion did not install the latest Safari, it only told you that it wasn't compatible with your OS X Snow Leopard.
TIP: I use Firefox instead of Safari because it's vastly SUPERIOR to any version of Safari. Safari is essentially a crippled version of a two year old version of Firefox.

How to install Flash for Google Chrome for Mac OS X?
You are using Chrome beta. It is not easy to find because Google doesn't want the general public to use it. The security features are mostly absent. You should be using it for testing purposes and not expect your data to be safe while using it.
Adobe Flash Player installs plugin files at Library /Internet Plug-Ins. There is another location at yourhomefolder /Library /Internet Plug-Ins, but that is for private use of features that you wish to restrict from other users.
Those files are used by any and all Web browsers on your Mac. There is nothing special about Chrome. If Flash is working in Safari and /or Firefox, you have a problem with Chrome. That's why it isn't available to the general public. You can send a report to Google if you are involved in the development. Otherwise, you are out of luck.
Why does Apple not allow Flash on the iPhone or iPad?
Adobe Flash Player Pour Mac Os 10.6 8
Adobe Flash Player 11 Mac Os X 10.6 8
Let us start by clearing out a misunderstanding :You can use Flash to develop apps for iOS devices and publish them using the packager for iPhone in Flash CS5. Apple announced during 2010 that they wouldn't allow applications built using 3rd party development tools (such as Unity and Flash) to be distributed through the App Store, but they've since lifted those restrictions. But the web browser in iOS devices still won't play Flash content. Why Apple is holding back on Flash content is a matter with strong opinions, but in the end the answer is quite simple: Because Apple believe they will make more money in the long run by banning Flash content. But I do want to present a couple of the popular opinions on the matter.Stefan Svartling has given you the reason stated by Steve Jobs unofficially on a number of occasions, and that is probably some of the truth. The other half of the truth is probably Apple's very strong desire to control every single aspect of the user experience, including all content on their platforms. If this content is built in Flash (or other plugin software), they have a lesser degree of control over it. It is that desire that originally made them want to ban all 3rd party apps, but luckily the reaction from the different communities forced them to rethink that decision. Both halfs of the truth are based on opinion, not fact.It is true that Flash applications can be (and are often) built in a way, that uses lots of CPU and memory, but it is also possible to build Flash applications that use resources in a much better way, especially with the new Flash Player 10.1 that is being rolled out on pretty much every new mobile device on the market, except for the ones made by Apple, so obviously all the other electronic giants don't share the opinion that Flash is a resource hog.For the other half I mention there have been a number of cases in the last year where Apple have tried to ban content on their devices for various morale and technical reasons. That is something they've been doing from the start, but in 2010 these stories started to get critical media coverage, and that is definitely a change in the way Apple is perceived.
